Information on the village of Bunessan in Scotland.

Bunessan Primary School

Bunessan Primary School

Bunessan Primary School is situated at the east end of the village.
It is a two teacher school with a current roll (2007) of 28, organised in two composite classes. There is visiting teacher support in Music and Learning Support.
The school's catchment area is a large one - from Tiroran in the north-west to the crofting community of Knockvologan and Erraid in the south west.
The school is co-educational and non-denominational - boys and girls of all academic abilities and religious persuasions are eligible to enrol.
Housed in a single storey traditional building, which has been extended and modernised, the school offers a pleasant and welcoming environment for learning.

A school handbook detailing the policies of the school in all areas of teaching and learning is available from the Headteacher.
